EXTRAS
HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST - Short Shoot $50 - Medium Shoot $100 - Long Shoot - $150+ (depending on needs)
Every shoot comes out better when a Hair and Makeup Artist is involved. They add another creative touch and complete the looks we're all going for. Well worth the extra money.
LOCATION SHOOTING
Want to get out of the studio? We're completely mobile and can take our lighting on location. Price depends on location, traveling time etc. It costs more, but sometimes a great location helps to make a great shot. Let us know what you have in mind.
MULTIPLE MODELS
Don't want to go it alone, bring a friend. You can add additional models to your shoot if you want more than one person in each shot. Call or email for pricing.
ABOUT THE MODELING RELEASE
In the modeling industry, generally the model is hired by an advertising agency, magazine, photographer etc, to provide their modeling services for a particular project or projects. They are paid for their services as a model and that is their compensation for the shoot. They are not entitled to any of the pictures taken at the shoot and have no rights to them. The model will sign a Model Release Form stating that they have agreed to give up their rights to the photos taken. It's a standard practice in the industry.
SO WHY DO WE OFFER A DISCOUNT IN IN THE PRICE OF OUR PACKAGES FOR SIGNING A MODEL RELEASE?
In this case we are not hiring a model for our purposes. They are hiring us to take photos for them. The pictures belong to the model completely, and we have no rights to use them for any reason.
We offer a discount if they sign a release allowing us to use the photos too. This is a different type of release than discussed above in that it allows either of us to use the photos.
From time to time we need to update our portfolio too. If we have taken some photos of you that we would like to use for promotional or other purposes, we have you sign a release allowing us the right to use the photographs. In return, we give you a discount on the price of your package.
Please note that we will not always need to use your photographs for any reason, and the discount will not apply. For example, you may have taken a series we currently have in our portfolio already, therefore we won't need to duplicate them.
TFCD or TFP - WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Time For CD - Time For Photos
This is another common industry practice. Sometimes we will work a trade of sorts with models, their time modeling for us, in return for Images on CD (TFCD) or Prints (TFP). Essentially, we are hiring the model to come take pictures for us, and we retain the rights to these photos. Instead of paying them money, we pay them with photos. On occasion we can also work out trades with models where both parties retain rights to use the photos. All things depend on the situation and needs of all involved.
